This 6 week series of 60 minute sessions students will learn basic, initial yoga poses (asanas) Focus is on understanding that a little yoga goes way and each yoga will look different for each body. The goal is to build a life along with yoga. The 20 different basic poses will cover how each alignment is best for your body. Starting from external and moving to internal you will know that it takes time and practice and yoga is not about perfection. Pose types will cover, standing, shoulder work, posture, basic back extensions, twists, forward bends, balances, back strength, hip mobility, seated, supine & relaxation.
Required yoga props for this series: mat, yoga bolster, yoga strap, 2 yoga blocks, blanket
